Factory Hammerbrooklyn
Headquarters, Hamburg 2021
At nod studios, my role revolved around the innovative design and creation of dynamic co-working spaces tailored for Factory Hamburg the sister company of Factory Berlin. The pavilion was initially part of the US exhibition area designed by New York architect James Biber for EXPO 2015 in Milan. To truly transform the DIGITAL PAVILION into the hub of revolutionary ideas and innovations it is today, its predecessor was dismantled, transported from Milan to HAMMERBROOKLYN, and reconstructed as a new and complete building.
The Reception Space
The reception space of Factory Hamburg boasts a captivating design, highlighted by a remarkable back wall and ceiling adorned with an array of screens. These screens come to life as they seamlessly display a dynamic showcase of artists from the Factory community.
This innovative concept not only welcomes guests with a visually striking introduction but also serves as a testament to Factory's commitment to creativity and collaboration. The ever-changing display of artists' work establishes an immersive atmosphere that transcends traditional reception areas.
The Event Floor
The event floor at Factory Hamburg is a multifunctional haven that caters to a spectrum of collaborative needs. At its heart stands the centerpiece: the largest modular co-working table, where ideas flow, and connections are forged.
This dynamic space seamlessly transforms, playing host to a myriad of gatherings, from auditorium-style presentations that inspire hundreds, to intimate meetings in thoughtfully designed smaller spaces that encourage focused discussions.
The Co-working Floors
Factory Hamburg's coworking spaces have been meticulously designed to cater to diverse work styles and collaboration preferences. On the first floor, a sprawling open area forms a dynamic hub where creativity knows no bounds. This vibrant expanse is dotted with strategically placed meeting rooms, serving as pockets of focused interaction amidst the energetic hum of activity.
Ascending to the third and fourth floors, a shift towards more intimate settings takes place. Here, smaller spaces encourage close-knit collaborations. Factory Hamburg's thoughtfully segmented coworking spaces embrace the spectrum of professional needs, making it a dynamic haven for innovators to thrive and for companies to rent out spaces and further develop new connections in the digital campus.
