While working at Kinzo, we had the opportunity to bring the vision of the new 50Hz Headquarters in Berlin to life, infusing it with nature-inspired elements and creating an environment that fosters endless possibilities for connections. Located on the 7th floor, the terrace offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. Designed with the vision of bringing the serene ambiance of a park to great heights, this project aims to create a unique experience.
As one steps onto the terrace, they are greeted by a lush green lawn, providing a refreshing space for people to relax. The predominant use of wood in the terrace design gives it a natural and organic feel, forming a picturesque landscape with cozy nooks and abundant seating areas, all shaded by charming small trees. To enhance comfort, soft elements have been thoughtfully incorporated, creating an inviting and cozy atmosphere that beckons visitors to unwind and enjoy the elevated oasis.
The new 50Hz building in Berlin stands as a symbol of connectivity, and this concept is brought to life in various spaces within its structure.
Among these spaces, the 7th floor terrace takes center stage as a vibrant hub where people gather and interact. Offering a panoramic view that showcases the beauty of the surrounding area, the terrace is ingeniously designed to emulate the essence of a high-rise park.
The use of warm wood planks infuses the space with a sense of coziness, while splashes of color are introduced through the inclusion of soft seating elements. Nature takes center stage, as small trees and patches of grass are thoughtfully incorporated throughout the diverse layout.
Whether it's engaging in lively conversations or finding solace in the embrace of nature, the 7th floor terrace provides a space that promotes harmony and brings people together in the midst of a bustling cityscape.
